The heart of the city pulsates in the Old Town. It is a pleasure centre where
both bustle and tranquility and history and modern life mingle in harmony with one another. The little lanes with their narrow-gabled town houses, old churches
and Art Nouveau facades are home to around 260 pubs, gourmet and international restaurants, discotheques and night clubs, which attract a highly cosmopolitan clientèle.
The Rheinufer Promenade
is particularly exciting to visit and has in a very short time become the most popular meeting point for Düsseldorfers and their guests.
